Frequently Asked Questions

For your convenience, we have prepared a set of frequently asked questions associated with renting a car in the FleetBook Car Rental Company.


1. Who can rent a car?

Any person who is at least 21 years old and has at least one year driving license valid in the territory of Poland. The second document that is required is identity card or passport.


2. Is it possible to rent a car for the company?

You can rent a car for the company. In such case, it is required to present scans of the company registration documents. The rental agreement should be signed by an authorised person.


3. How can I pay for rent?

You can pay for renting a car using different methods: credit / debit card, bank transfer or in cash.


4. How can I pay the deposit, which is returned after the rental period?

Deposit, which is a form of transaction protection can be paid by: debit / credit card (pre-authorisation service - reservation of funds in the account), bank transfer or in cash (cash is accepted form subject to the payment for the car rental by any other method). It is therefore impossible to pay both rent and deposit in cash.


5. Can rented car be also driven by another person?

Yes. Only when this will be reported during the reservation or handing over the car. Additional driver is a free service in the FleetBook Car Rental Company. Possession of valid driving license entitling to drive the car and the second identity document (identity card or passport) are required.


6. Can rented car be driven out of the Polish territory?

Yes. On condition that it has been reported during the reservation or handing over the car, with the stipulation that you can travel only in the European Union. Going beyond the territory of Poland is a paid service as determined individually depending on the country you want to go.


7. What does extra insurance mean?

Additional insurance is the abolition of your own contribution, which are liquidated from motor hull insurance (AC) of the rented car. The Client is responsible for the damage caused during the rental and settled to motor hull insurance (AC) policy to the amount of Client's own contribution - regardless of the total cost of repairing the damage. Additional insurance ensures that the Client does not hold any own contribution, and thus does not bear financial consequences if he damages the car, which will then be repaired under the motor hull insurance (AC).


8. Czy mogę wynająć samochód jeśli nie posiadam polskiego prawa jazdy?

Yes. It is also possible to rent a car having a driving license from another country than Poland. These are the following countries:  

 Albania, Austria, Bahama, Bahrajn, Belarus, Belgium, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Brazil, Bulgaria, Cyprus, Croatia, Czech Republic, Denmark, Democratic Republic of Congo, Estonia, Philippines, Finland, France, Greece, Georgia, Guiana, Spain, Netherlands, Iran, Ireland, Iceland, Israel, Kazakchstan, South Korea, Cuba, Kuwait, Lichtenstein, Lithuania, Luxemburg, Latvia, Macedonia, Malta, Marocco, Monaco, Mongolia, Germany, Niger, Norway, Pakistan, Poland, Portugal, Moldova, Central African Republic, South Africa, Russia, Romania, San Marino, Senegal, Seychelles, Slovakia, Slovenia, Switzerland, Sweeden, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Ukraine, Uruguay, Uzbekistan, Hungary, Greay Britain, Italy, Ivory Coast, Zimbabwe.

In case of a driving licence from the USA, Canada, Australia and Turkey, Polish law and insurance companies also require an international driving license.

9. What in the event of accident or damage to the rented car?

If the rented car is immobilised due to a failure, traffic accident or other random event, please contact immediately with our Technical Hotline number   (+48) 796 702 702, which is open 24 hours a day. Our staff will assist you and give you further instructions.


10. What is the procedure for handing over and returning the car?

The FleetBook Car Rental Company employee will prepare an agreement together with the regulations. During the hand over of the car, he will draw up a protocol, which will inform about the technical condition of the car. Our cars are always washed and with full tank. After signing of all documents, the keys along with proof of registration and a valid insurance policy are provided. The condition of the car is verified with the previously signed protocol after returning it.


11. Can the car be delivered at the airport or other appropriate place?

Yes. The car can be delivered by our driver in the place indicated by the Client. In such situation, he has a portable payment terminal and a complete set of documents to sign. All operations are carried out on the spot without having to appear in our office.


12. Is there any distance limit that I can travel?

No. With cars rented in the FleetBook Car Rental Company, you can travel any number of kilometres.


13. How can I book a car?
